Friday

I got to go school clothes shopping today and got some gorgeous items of clothing. We went out of our way to go to different stores, we went close to the bay area but not quite there. When I got home, my father and I went to work out at the gym. For dinner we went to Round Table where my soccer team was meeting.

Thursday

Just got home from soccer practice about an hour ago. I slept into late today and was upset to find that it was about 11 o'clock when I actually succeeded in actually stepping out of bed. Then I read for the entire day and finished a great book. pretty much another awesome summer day ending with sweating buckets at the soccer field. So yes, it is a good day. Tomorrow might go shopping or I might just do absolutely nothing, so we shall see.

Wednesday!

Well, this week has been rather hecticish. Sunday spent the night with day and night with them and most of Monday. Then, spent Monday night with my grandmother. Tuesday with the Sordellos. Been mighty busy. Soccer practice tonight.

Went to church today which ran over. Relaxing for a couple hours and then going on over to the Hubies.

Friday

Yeah Weekend! We have reached the weekend!!!! Peter spent the night last night and I watched Hercules this morning. Watching the telly right now, just relaxing. Another great summer day.

Thursday

Woke up at about 8:00 and mowed my grandmother's lawns. Then came back home, watched The Little Mermaid, went out to lunch. Then came back and watch Sleeping Beauty.

I know my posts are rather boring. Just about my dog days of summer, but....

Nice Summer Day

I woke up about 8:30, then finished watching Pocahontas on the smallest screen ever. Then, well now I'm just relaxing and doing nothing. I've got soccer practice tonight though. More sprints for me. :(

Aboard the Ferry

The wind blows so fiercely that I stumble. I hold on to the railing for dear life. My sister heaves herself up next to me with the force of the wind pulling her backward.
Our hair slashes across our teary eyed faces. My grandpa stands still in the wind, unmoving. So this was it, the front of the ferry, going towards Bainbridge Island from Seattle.
So many years ago we had been on this very ferry, I scarcely remember it. I had forgotten the harsh wind, the loud horn, and the car port down below. I stagger away from the front and enter into the inside seating area. It was clam, quiet, warm. I go over to the stuffed seat and sink into them, stretching my feet. Relaxing, I grab my water bottle and gulp it down.
Eventually, my family maneuver their way in to join me, their hair askew. My mother and sister take a few minutes trying to smooth their hair down. Choosing to keep his sunglasses on, my dad leans back and closes his eyes. At least I think he did. Grandpa continues to drink the coffee that I failed to finish. Soon the ferry starts tooting its horn.
My family gets up and trudges down to the Mercedes. We take our positions. I squeeze into the middle. The ship comes to a lurching stop. After waiting for the ok, we drive off onto the island. We say goodbye to the ferry. Only to say hello again when it comes back to pick us up.

Really Really Tired

Yeah,
So, you know how yesterday I said that I was crazy tired? That doesn't even compare to how extremely exhausted I am now. Saturday I had two soccer games, Sunday I had another two soccer games and then later that night I met up with the rest of the youth group to play an extreme game of spoons. Then, today I woke up at 7:00 to think and write. So yeah, you could say that I'm tired.

Yes, ladies and gentleman it is the weekend! But no rest for me. I have a soccer tournament, Saturday and Sunday and then I'm back to school on Monday. Yess, it is a busy summer!

Today I went to church. Read then cleaned and repositioned my room. Worked on some writing.

Yeah, we have reached the weekend! And I'm allowed to say that because I have to get up in the mornings at 7. At writer's workshop we did an immersion and an idea expansion. Tonight, I'm going to a try out. Pray for me that I don't hurt myself too badly!

Nice

Well, today has been quite pleasant. I woke up semi-early and starting cleaning my room. Then my dad and I went to the driving range. Then we went out to lunch. I continued to clean my room, and I'm still not done (it's deep cleaning). Hope your day is good!

Perfect Summer Day

Well,
It was mostly a perfect summer day, except that I had to work in the morning. Then I went over to Sabrina's and went swimming and played ping pong. We went to Starbucks, then swam and played ping pong some more. It was nice.

Review: Altogether a funny romance story. Sandra Bullock's performance is hilarious. I recommend it!

I just got back from vacationing in Tahoe with the Larsons and it was loads of fun! I'll have some pics soon.
